Alessandra’s Yoga Instruction goes beyond traditional classes to offer a comprehensive, personalized approach through Assessment, Alignment, and Movement. I work intensively one-on-one with clients who seek deeper alignment and awareness of their bodies. Through an in-depth Assessment, we begin with a 90-minute private session that includes setting goals and intentions, as well as a full-body intake scan. The Alignment phase focuses on myofascial release, posture and walking analysis, and foundational poses to correct imbalances and enhance movement. The final Movement stage integrates breathwork, meditation, conscious movement, and somatic release techniques. This holistic approach helps clients achieve a balanced, pain-free, and mindful practice tailored to their unique needs.

Alessandra is exclusively offering private 1:1 and small group instruction. She is not affiliated with any local studios for group classes.

Assesment

Our Assessment provides a comprehensive overview of your current physical and mental state to tailor a personalized yoga plan. Alignment

Alignment sessions focus on refining your posture and enhancing body awareness to improve overall alignment. Through myofascial release, posture and walking corrections, and foundational poses, we work to align your body for better function and reduced pain. This practice not only enhances physical alignment but also promotes mental and emotional balance.

Movement

Our Movement sessions emphasize the integration of breathwork, conscious movement, and somatic release techniques. This holistic approach fosters a deeper connection between body and mind, facilitating physical release and emotional healing. These sessions encourage mindful movement, promoting overall well-being and inner peace.

About Alessandra’s Yoga Journey

Alessandra’s journey into yoga began in her late teens during her college years, where she immersed herself in the study of yoga, meditation, tai chi, Eastern philosophies and religions. While living in Taos, she visited various spiritual centers and deepened her asana practice. After graduating from Colorado State, Alessandra moved to Austin, Texas, to complete her Yoga Teacher Training at CorePower Yoga. Together with her partner Ford, they embarked on a Health and Wellness journey seeking human optimization.

Ale has since taught yoga and conscious movement in Florida, Colorado, and even to the Tartleton State University Football team in Texas. Then, while homeschooling her children and homesteading in the mountains of Colorado, Alessandra studied under Brenda Flemming, a highly knowledgeable Iyengar teacher in Colorado who shared her love for Iyengar yoga and the importance of alignment. Alessandra attended classes and workshops for continuing education with Junior an Senior level Iyengar Instructors.

Alessandra finds that myofascial release along with proper muscular engagement in poses helps keep her safe and injury free. As a former competitive cheerleader and dancer, Alessandra had to learn to retrain her hyper flexitivity and for over stretched ligaments which began to caused hip issues, therefore this has become a specialty and passion of hers.

Her classes focus on alignment, breath, properly engaging in poses, and keeping it interactive and supportive. As a mother, she deeply understands the female body and offers specialized pregnancy and postpartum poses and exercises. Alessandra’s classes are perfect for those who are seeking greater alignment and expertise.

Alignment based yoga is not just a physical practice, but a healing therapy that aligns body, mind, and spirit, bringing harmony and balance to our lives.
